WALL SIT PERFORMANCE SERIES
WALL SIT

This series was a one-year exploration of the live performance medium using the wall sit drawing activity. Each performance had multiple variables: venue, audience composition, tools and materials used, mark-making patterns, and physical state. With the exception of Wall Sit with Mop, each drawing activity was sustained until fatigue. As the series progressed, the medium of video as a documentary tool emerged as a focal point.
